- Insurance Disclaimer
- ZippyRide does not provide any insurance coverage for vehicles, drivers, or riders.
Users are solely responsible for obtaining motor, health, or accident insurance if
desired.
- Ride-at-Own-Risk Clause
- All users accept that using the platform involves inherent risks (road conditions, traffic,
driver behavior, etc.).
ZippyRide is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damages.
- Platform Role Disclaimer

ZippyRide operates solely as a technology platform that facilitates connections
between independent riders and drivers for the purpose of peer-to-peer transportation.
ZippyRide does not operate as a transportation provider, taxi company, or agent of either
party.
By using the platform, you acknowledge and agree that ZippyRide is not a party to
any direct agreement or transaction made between drivers and riders, including those
involving payment , fare negotiations, or disputes.
- Direct Payments Between Users
- All fare payments and settlements are to be handled directly between the rider
and the driver, based on mutually agreed-upon terms at the time of booking or during
the trip. This includes:
- Cash payments
- Third-party payment apps (e.g., UPI, bank transfer, mobile wallets)
- Any other offline or online arrangement
ZippyRide does not process or mediate these payments and bears no responsibility for
the accuracy, success, or failure of such transactions.
- No Liability for Disputes
- ZippyRide shall not be held liable for:
- Overcharges, underpayments, or payment disputes.
- Refusals to pay or accept payment.
- Disagreements over agreed fares, waiting time, or extra charges.
- Failed transactions using third-party payment systems.
Riders and drivers are encouraged to verify and confirm fare details clearly before the
trip starts.
- User Conduct & Responsibilities
- Riders and drivers are expected to behave professionally and respectfully during
all interactions.
Both parties must adhere to all applicable local transportation, traffic, and tax
laws.
Any violation, misconduct, or illegal activity should be reported, but ZippyRide is
not an enforcement body and reserves the right to suspend platform access at its
discretion based on reports received.
- Dispute Resolution (Optional Advisory)
- While ZippyRide is not obligated to intervene in payment disputes, we may, at our
sole discretion, offer limited mediation assistance to improve user trust and experience.
This does not imply liability or responsibility.
- Acceptance of Terms
- By using ZippyRide's platform or mobile application, you accept these terms in
full. If you do not agree with any part of this disclaimer or terms, do not use the service.
- Liability in Case of Accidents
- ZippyRide is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, damages, losses, or
deaths that occur during or as a result of a ride arranged through the platform.
All rides are private agreements between riders and drivers, and drivers are solely
responsible for complying with road safety, insurance, and traffic regulations.
Riders are encouraged to verify driver details and ensure personal safety precautions
before and during rides.
ZippyRide does not provide insurance coverage for riders, drivers, or vehicles. It is the
responsibility of each party to arrange and maintain their own insurance.
Any claims or disputes arising from accidents or incidents must be resolved directly
between the parties involved and/or through appropriate legal or insurance channels.
- Indemnification Clause
- Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless ZippyRide and its affiliates from any
claims, liabilities, damages, or costs arising from their use of the platform.
- Data Privacy & Security
- Briefly mention that user data (location, contact details) is collected and
processed only to facilitate rides.
- Platform Availability & Limitations
- ZippyRide does not guarantee uninterrupted service or availability. Technical
issues, outages, or maintenance may occur without notice.
- Termination of Access
- ZippyRide reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misuse, fraud,
harassment, or policy violations.
- Modification of Terms
- State that ZippyRide may update or change these Terms & Conditions at any time, and
continued use implies acceptance.
